As a yoga teacher and holistic health coach, I create space for my clients and students to slow down and tune in. I believe that health and self-care should be a priority and that experiences are more valuable than possessions.
My adventures in life have been defined by a love of learning, an insatiable curiosity, and a willingness to explore the world and say yes to new experiences.
I grew up in Berkeley, CA, drinking wheat grass juice, visiting the ashram, and spending copious amounts of time outside. As an Art History major at UCLA, I developed a deep appreciation and wonder for art and culture. This lead me to spend a semester abroad in Ankara, Turkey, where I reveled in the beauty and rich history of one of the world's oldest cultures. After spending some time working, I moved from San Francisco to South Carolina to obtain an International MBA. I spent a year studying Arabic in Morocco, Jordan, and Lebanon and savoring the rich culture of the region. I became passionate about sharing my experiences as a single, American woman in the Middle East and providing positive anecdotes to counter the mostly negative perceptions back home. Upon graduating, I moved to DC to work, and in the process became a yoga teacher and then a health coach.
I make the choice to live a life of balance, wellness, purpose, & exploration and support others to do the same. I have always had a deep understanding that passions should be pursued, that travel and cultural exchange feed the soul and open the mind, and that self-care is always the most important thing.
At Nicole Griffin Wellness, we discover ourselves, nurture ourselves, and open our aperture on life.
