About

Nicole Griffin is a mindful movement teacher, mindfulness coach, and Middle East & North Africa retreat leader. She is passionate about cultivating resilience, mindful travel, and social impact. Nicole believes that cultivating resilience skills empowers us to venture outside of our comfort zone and discover adventure and expansion.

In Nicole’s classes, you can expect to practice slowing down and resting while also learning practical resilience skills. Her classes are the perfect antidote to a fast-paced and busy life and provide a sweet complement to more physically demanding activities. Everyone is welcome to join, you don’t need any prior experience.

As a mindfulness coach, Nicole supports her clients to decondition layers of ‘shoulds,’ attune to their unique strengths, values, and passions, and to create a life that honors and aligns with who they are and who they want to become.

Nicole’s culture and resilience retreats emphasize meaningful cultural immersion and mindful travel. The resilience and mindfulness practices provide the ground as we explore how to take our yoga off the mat and into the world around us. All of Nicole’s retreats give back to charities that empower women and girls in the Middle East and North Africa.

A lifelong student, Nicole has a B.A. in Art History with a focus on Islamic Art History and an International MBA with concentrations in Arabic and Social Entrepreneurship. She has lived and studied in Turkey, Morocco, Jordan, and Lebanon and has traveled widely throughout the MENA region.

She has logged thousands of hours of coaching, yoga, somatics, and mindfulness training and is fascinated by the intersections of embodiment, social impact, culture, and behavior change.
