Restorative Yoga
My restorative yoga classes include education and practices to support rest and nervous system health. Expect gentle movement and longer-held poses (5-15 minutes) with lots of props for support. During longer pauses in fully supported poses, the body can deeply relax as the parasympathetic nervous system is stimulated.
The pace of my classes is very slow and the intention is to practice resting, slowing down, relaxing, and building resilience to stress. There is minimal stretching and muscular effort.
Restorative yoga is valuable for everyone and can be particularly beneficial to those who experience stress, anxiety, insomnia, and muscular tension. Everyone is welcome, you do not need any experience.
Yoga Nidra
Yoga nidra is a guided meditation practice that can induce profound feelings of relaxation in the body and mind. It has also been proven to help lessen stress and improve insomnia.

Nervous System Reset: Stress Relief for Mind & Body at Green Yogi Berkeley
Join us every second Friday at Green Yogi MLK for a 90-minute nervous system reset designed to relieve stress, calm your mind, and reconnect you with your body.
Each session includes simple, science-backed teachings on nervous system health, optional group sharing, and deeply restorative practices like mindful movement, restorative yoga, and Yoga Nidra.
This class is especially supportive if you’re feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck in “go mode.” When we slow down in community, we remember that we’re not alone—and that healing happens more easily when we feel safe, seen, and supported.
You’ll leave each session feeling more grounded and at ease with simple tools you can carry into your daily life.
